“ Went here for a Sunday family meal. There was 8 of us including a two year old and a disabled 34 year old. What can I say... it was the best meal out I’ve probably had in years. All the food was home made even down to the chicken nuggets which were amazing. The Sunday lunch was spot on with an option of meats to choose from. The staff were lovely and attentive! And the selection of drinks was second to none! Including the alcohol free options!!! Cannot wait to return. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon! ”

“ Wow, I'm not one for posting reviews but what a gem of a cosy restaurant, the food was absolutely amazing,all homemade I had pie of the day the pastry just melted in the mouth,fresh veg perfectly cooked. My husband had burger with pulled pork, homemade chips which he said was outstanding. Definitely going again. ”
“ Me and my partner nipped in for a anniversary date lunch, which was also our first visit, we decided on the lunch two course offer and it was all absolutely lovely! I had the cheeseburger and my partner had the steak which he says was perfectly cooked, the chunky chips that came with both dishes were fantastic! We then followed up with two sticky toffee puddings which was a lovely way to end our meal. Service was great and the atmosphere was warm and cozy! We look forward to coming here again. ”

“ Stopped off here on way home from the Lake District. Service was spot on. We ordered 3 different Sunday Roasts. Chicken, vegetarian and a Beef plus a Cauliflower cheese to share. All spot on and the plates hardly needed cleaning after we had finished - all cooked to perfection and was yummy. Had a few puddings too - all very nice. Highly recommend this place. ”
